I have a fantastic job at the Intensive English Program at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I have worked for the past ten years. I am currently an instructor and curriculum supervisor and have recently taken on overseeing the IEP Media Lab.
Family
I have a great family. I've been married for 28 years to Randy. We have two children, Jenny and Eric. Jenny is 23 and has been married for a little over a year to Tom. She followed me into the teaching profession. She will start her second year of teaching at a new IB school in Loveland, Colorado. Our son Eric just turned 21 and is still trying to find his way after facing many health challenges over the past 10 years.
Personal Interests
I have many interests but have not had much time to pursue those interests while working and raising my family. I love to sing, and until recently, I sang with a 100 member + group called the Larimer Chorale. My husband and I love walking along an ocean beach, but unfortunately, that 's not an interest we can pursue easily in Colorado.
Colorado
I live in Loveland, Colorado, which is about an hour's drive north of Denver. Although Loveland has a semi-arid climate, there are many lakes.

My uncle and cousins live in Fort Collins. I took intensive English courses at CSU twenty plus years ago. I am sure Fort Collins has developed so much since then.
What a small world, Tomoko! Do you remember any teachers named Mary Kay Wedum or Leslie Noone? They were teaching at the IEP 20 years or more ago and are still there now! I moved to Fort Collins in 1997 and I've seen a lot of changes in that time. I am sure that you would notice even more changes if you were to visit again. When was the last time you visited Fort Collins?
